How to Apply for ETA

   Visit ETA Website

   Go to eta.gov.lk (official government website)

   Fill Application Form

   Provide passport details, travel dates, and personal information

3. 3

   Make Payment (if applicable)

   Pay visa fee using credit/debit card (free for eligible countries)

4. 4

   Receive Approval

   ETA approval sent via email within 24-48 hours

5. 5

   Print ETA

   Print approval and carry with passport when traveling

Passport Requirements

• •Passport must be valid for at least 6 months from date of entry
• •At least two blank pages required
• •Return or onward ticket required
• •Proof of sufficient funds may be requested

Visa Extension

If you need to stay longer than your visa allows, you can apply for an extension at the Department of Immigration and Emigration in Colombo.

Important Notes

• •Apply for ETA at least 2 weeks before travel
• •Beware of third-party visa services charging excessive fees
• •ETA is only valid when arriving by air
• •Keep a copy of your ETA approval with you
• •Have congress invitation letter available if questioned
